Anyway, here is a list of at least 5 of my most romantic places in no particular order.

1. Baguio

Rose Garden, Burnham Park, Baguio City, Foursquare.com

The coldest place in the Philippines. Not that it will level to the weather from other countries, it’s just that it is wonderful to go to the place for its surroundings. Perfect for couples cuddling each other. Wonderful flowers and picking up strawberries for the two of you to consume, how exciting it is. Pick strawberries at La Trinidad and also red roses at Bahong farm. These are all in Bagiuo.

You can also go to the higher mountains in any part of Baguio and experience the cold weather there more than downhill. Pine trees are also everywhere if both of you are interested in nature.

2. Paras Beach Resort in Camiguin Island

Located in Camiguin Island. This resort has the view of the white island at its most perfect scenery. At night when the light is o, the place will reveal its romantic place. At daylight, you can have all the view of the water, the blue crystal water, and the white sand beach.

If you love the place, you can have your wedding package here even. Yes there is a wedding package and from what I know for the first 100 guest it’s about P65, 340.00. Amenities of the resort include Banana Boat, jet skiing, snorkelling, and scuba diving.

3. Moon Garden Tagaytay

I know there are a lot of things to do in Tagaytay but I prefer the not so common place as it is better for couples to have more private time. You might want to go there at an earlier time since it’s far. 2-3 hours drive from Manila. This is like a quiet get away from the city where couples could just express their love to one another in a place where there is no chaos and modernization.

Yeah! Bring back the times where love is not associated with so much technology and everything was nature. The place is filled with vintage and antique vibes also with beautiful flowers and pond. There are cabanas within the pond perfect for long talks and cuddling.

4. Ilocos Sur and Norte

Nothing can beat the lovely place of Vigan. Here you can do a long walk on the peaceful road sightseeing the lights especially at night. Experience riding in Calesas and know the feeling of how couples before transport themselves for wedding. Yes, some use Calesas since expensive cars were not that used before.

When you pass by people selling street foods, don’t hesitate to try and eat those Filipino foods. Have your date simple yet meaningful enjoying little pleasures in life. Another first is to go to the site where windmills are. These are only seen in Ilocos and they provide dramatic silhouette for you to appreciate.

5. Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant Cordova, Cebu

This is just one of the most amazing floating restaurants in the Philippines. Located in the province of Cebu, this floating restaurant is an A+. I prefer going there at night than daylight as you can see the lights. It’s up to you too to choose what time but make sure the weather is good and not raining.

Eat at their delicious menu, they are mixed with Mexican and Filipino cuisines. The style is wooden and the aura is nice as it is cold because of course it is floating. The view is the part of Cebu city and the sea breeze is getting into your skin which makes it lovelier to stay.

So there, I got you list of places for a romantic get-away. Share your sweet and wholesome experience with each other. As the saying goes, live life to the fullest!
