Best Places to Eat in NYC

New York has a lot to offer when it comes to food. There are thousands of restaurants and each and every one of them offers something different. I’ve visited some of the place over the last couple of years and decided to share some information where to have the best meals in this remarkable city. New York is filled with different cultures and people from all over the word live here. This is simply great when it comes to food, simply because you can try different cuisines every day and enjoy your stay here. Today I will mention some of the best places where I usually go out to lunch or dinner. Of course there are a lot of cool places besides these, but if you are planning a trip to this amazing city be sure to visit one of these cool locations.

1. Lombardi’s Pizza

Italians brought pizza to New York in the early 20th century. There were a lot of Italian immigrants moving to the big apple at the time, and it is no wonder that this city has a lot of cool places for pizza lovers. One of the best and oldest Italian pizza restaurants is Lombardi’s. They still use coal-fired ovens and this is one of the reasons why I like this place so much. The place has an old school charm and is visited by a lot of tourists and also locals that live in the area. The fresh clam pizza is my favorite thing here and be sure to try it. Surely you won’t regret this decision and to be honest this is they serve the best pizzas in the city.

2. Won Dee Siam

I have visited Thailand a couple of times and I must say that I fell in love with their cuisine immediately. The thing is that it is usually hard to find a good Thai place that serves traditional food from Thailand outside this lovely country. Well, there are exceptions and Won Dee Siam is one of them. Pork noodle soup is my favorite thing here, and of course I found this place from some local people from Thailand living in NY.

3. Junior’s

Cheesecake is something that everyone who comes to NY should try definitely. I know that they serve it all around the world, but for me the best cheesecake I ever had was in Junior’s. This place opened up its doors in 1950 and still it is considered to be the ultimate location for all New Yorkers who are craving cheesecake. They are also famous for their slogan that says “You haven’t lived until you’ve had a cheesecake from Junior’s” and yes, I can totally agree with the slogan.

4. Delaware and Hudson

This place is very popular and famous for their four courses deal. The best thing is that the prices are reasonable and you will surely get value for money if you decide to go to Delaware and Hudson. Ms. Jackson is the chef here and she makes the best food ever. Her Italian pasta recipes are simply amazing and the cooking has this homemade feeling. I visited this place on numerous occasions and even brought some of my friends who were visiting NYC for the first time, simply because I know that Ms. Jackson is never wrong with her cooking and serves perfect courses.

5. Bareburger

For burger lovers this is probably the best place to go in NY. I have always had a soft spot for burgers and wherever I go, I usually end up waiting in line of some diner for a bacon burger or something similar. Here at Bareburger I found my peace with this delicious food, since I spent so much time looking for a location that serves burgers like this. The best thing about this place is that use organic ingredients and a lot of different toppings, that make these fresh burgers not only healthy, also very delicious. The selection of meat is just amazing. You can have pork, chicken, bison, ostrich and also a veggie burger. Surely this is the best location to have a burger in the city.
