What does the hotel look like? Check out the entrance and the reception!
The characteristic building and illumination of the hotel matches the cityscape of Cotai.
There were some people who came shopping at the entrance.
The lobby was huge. There were lots of people queuing in front of the reception as it was check-in time.
There is a shopping mall next to the lobby, so you can see a lot of shops lined up.
What is the Deluxe View Room like?
I stayed at the Deluxe View Room.
There are 2 double beds in the room.
A desk, a chair and a TV
The room was spacious and clean. There were some red decors in the room, and they gave the room an luxurious atmosphere.
The sink was cleaned very well, and it was easy to use as there was a big mirror.
A toilet next to the sink
There is no bathtub in the bathroom. I had to be careful not to use too much water because there was no step between the shower room and the toilet, and the floor might soak wet.
The shower head was easy to use because it was removable and height adjustable.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap were prepared in the shower room. There was body lotion, mouth wash, cotton swabs, a toothbrush set and a sewing set in the amenity box on the washstand.
There was a coffee station under the TV.
There were glasses, cups, teaspoons, drip coffee bags and tea bags.
There is also an electric kettle. A bottle of water was prepared on the table and on the washstand in the bathroom.
There is a fridge in the room, but it was empty.
Closet & Safety Box
There were bathrobes, some hangers, an iron, an ironing board and a safety box in the closet.
The Safety box is a common type that sets the PIN.
The view of Cotai Strip from the room
There was a big window in the room.
The night view of Cotai Strip was beautiful.
The restaurants in the hotel
The hotel has 4 restaurants and 2 poolside bars.
“Feast” is a buffet style restaurant. You can enjoy international cuisine such as Asian, Portuguese and Macau dishes. You can enjoy pizzas, homemade pasta and risotto at the Italian restaurant "Bene".
You can have coffee, high tea, desserts and sandwiches at the “Palms”. There are lots of drink menus from standard cocktails to original drinks.
You can enjoy alcohol, light meal and grilled dishes at the poolside café.
Refresh in the outdoor pool & gym
There are 2 outdoor pools and 1 reserved pool in the hotel garden, and they are surrounded with tropical plants. There is a shallow pool and it is great for children to play. There is a bar next to the pool and you can have light meals there.
You can exercise at the fitness centre to keep your body and mind healthy.
Shopping and Casinos at Sands Cotai Central
You can enjoy shopping, entertainments and casinos at the shopping mall connected to the hotel.
There is also a duty-free shop. There are lots of shops there.
There are lots of people in the casino.
Area around the hotel
There are lots of casinos, shopping malls and restaurants around the hotel, and it is crowded with lots of people.
There were lots of cars and pedestrians even at night.
You can go to the famous Venetian Macao Hotel which is modelled on Venice, Italy and take pictures and shopping at the shopping malls there.
You can get to Macau in about 1 hour from Macau Ferry Terminal on Hong Kong Island.
The ferry is big enough to get 200 people on board. You can get to the hotel in 15 minutes from Macau Ferry Terminal. Lots of people seems to use taxis in Macau.
Staff & Guests
The staff members are very kind and polite. Most of tourists in Macau are Chinese though I saw Westerners, too.
There is a casino on the ground floor, and it is connected to a huge shopping mall, so it was always crowded with lots of people. It was nice that I was able to go to the Venetian Macao and the Parisian Macao without getting wet when it was rain. It was one of the big hotels in Macau, so it might take time to check-in during the tourist season. However, you will be able to spend a great time in this hotel except the tourist season as the room is quiet and clean, and there are lots of places to grab something to eat.
